Maine Forest & Logging Museum: You will step back in time when you visit the Maine Forest & Logging Museum! This museum focuses on depicting a living history of Maine’s forest heritage with a settler’s cabin, a working mill wheel, and an authentic blacksmith’s shop.

Zillman Art Museum: This museum is filled with diverse modern and contemporary art fixtures ranging in size, medium, and style. They house a multitude of events, workshops, and other educational functions.

Maine Discovery Museum: This museum maybe for the young ones in your life, but it is just as fun for the young at heart! Children have the opportunity to dig for fossils, explore the inner workings of the human anatomy, form their own band or create an astounding art piece.

The Rock & Art Shop/Sohns Gallery: This locally owned shop is home to a small gallery that often showcases local artists. Alongside this, they exhibit several cabinets of curiosity that house vintage taxidermy, precious stones and many other oddities enough to pique anyone’s interest!

Cole Land Transportation Museum: This museum is home to a large collection of preserved Maine land transportation machinery. From old cars to military vehicles, from railway cars to motorcycles and so much more Cole Land Transportation has a menagerie of machines of Maine’s past!
